Welcome to PrincessCrafts Digi-Scrap News.

Yes, as always, I’ve been very busy creating new digital scrapbook template downloads and scrapbook elements.  We have been the camp host at Lake Easton State Park in Washington State now all month.  The fall colors are coming out and it’s got me thinking about harvest, halloween and the upcoming holiday season. 

I’m not yet ready for the colder weather, but at the same time I’m really excited about the coming holidays and the time with family and friends.  What about you, are you ready for the colder weather?  Have you got your gift list started for the Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanza season?  I know that from personal experience that if you plan early, then there’s not the last minute rush and associated stress that comes with it.

I’ve already started on my scrapbook, memory book, vacation memory book and storybook scrapbooks that I’m giving this year. 

With that in mind, I wanted to let you know that some of the digital scrapbook templates are going to dissappear from our members areas to be replaced by new higher quality digi-scrap template downloads.

1. I’m replacing all the landscape format pages starting in October 2009.
2. Scrapbook of a Lifetime is dissappearing completely and new touch of color templates are going into the 8.5×11 and 12×12 areas.
3. Our mini-scrapbook pages are also going away and finding new ones showing up in the other members areas.
4. Last, but not least, all of our FREE scrapbook templates for the Computer Scrapbooking 101 course are being replaced with the new higher quality .png format papers.

It’s time we finish bringing all 9 of the scrapbook websites that we have into the main members areas so that things are easier to find and much less confusing to our new members. 

By the way, if you have ideas on how to better arrange the menu’s or of digital scrapbook themes that you want to see, we would love to hear from you.  After all, it’s your site and you should get a say in how it looks and works… don’t you think?

NEW FREE SCRAPBOOK CONTENT:

I’ve been busy the last couple of weeks adding more free stuff to the public sites. 

If you’ve been keeping up, you already know about the 2010 Photo Calendar template downloads at: www.FREEScrapbookTraining.com that we updated last month.

This month I’ve started adding brand new .png format scrapbook page toppers all over www.PrincessCrafts.com and www.1-computer-scrapbook.com, our main 8.5×11 & 12×12 sites.  All you need to do is to browse through the template thumbnails and you’ll find the new toppers right there on the pages.  Just click on them to download to your computer.  Compatible with both PC and Mac’s. I’m just getting started, so check back at least weekly to see all the new ones.

Note: Paid Members will find them all located in their Bonus section of their members areas in one place.  After all, Membership does have it’s privileges.

New Touch of Color Digital Scrapbook Catagory

Hello Scrapbook Friend,

Hope you’ve had a great summer, I know we sure have.  We spent the summer as a Volunteer Campground Host for the State of WA and have gotten to see some of the most beautiful State Parks and Campgrounds.

We started out in June at Camano Island State Park.  From there, we spent some time with Wes’ folks in Tacoma and time with my family in Deer Park, north of Spokane. We then spent a very hot month at Pearrygin Lake State Park and are now at Lake Easton State Park. 

We’ve met some of the nicest people from all over the world, mostly Canada and the US, but we also made new friends in Norway, Germany, Russia and Great Britton.  It’s been facinating as well as fun.  If you have make the time, volunteering as a camp host for a month or more is something we can whole heartedly recommend.

Now, on to why we are really here.

Digital Scrapbooking in the News:

Before we get to the FREE stuff (and we have some really great freebies), I just added a brand new category – A Touch of Color – to both our 8.5×11 and 12×12 members areas.  Sets 1 through 6 are there waiting for you now.  I have even more coming the end of the month.

New Wedding sets: I also just added Wedding sets 53 through 58, so you’ll need to go check them out as well.  Add that to the 6 Wedding sets I added the end of last month and you really have a new wedding book waiting there for you now.  Especially if you take into account the 6 new Spring Scrapbook sets that also work great for wedding books.

Block Words Titles:  You will also now find 6 new sets of word titles made from digital Children’s blocks.  These go great in your new baby scrap books and children/child page layouts.

Last month’s recount:  Last month, in case you missed them, I added Background Sets 107 thorugh 112 and Summer Scrapbook Sets 61 though 69.  There was also 9 new Mothers Day Digi-Scrap template sets and I also added a whole bunch of new elements to add to the templates or to create your own digital scrapbook pages with.

Removed: 

I have removed Spring 34 and below along with critters 39 and below.  They were in the old GIF format and I’ll be updating these catagories with new scrapbook sets in the updated high quality PNG format during the fall/winter time frame.

2010 Photo Calendar Page Templates – Wes just finished uploading our brand new 2010 Photo Calendar scrapbook sets yesterday.  They are by far the best I’ve ever done and I know you are going to just love them.  I even added alternate themes for the April, July & December months.  Check them out now at:
