Hi Kathy,

Just a quick note to tell you I really love your site.  When my mind runs dry for ideas, I look through your site and usually come up with a great idea, sometimes using your pages exactly as presented, sometimes using elements of the page, or simply using the idea to make my own creation. The results are always amazing if I say so myself.  It’s nice to have such a readily available source of ideas at hand. 

You asked how many pages I’ve completed since joining the site, hard to say exactly, but I usually complete at least six to ten pages a week. I work full time, so can only scrap from 8 to 10 at night usually, but my mind is constantly working to picture the pages in my mind before I actually sit down to work on them, so the time I sit is very productive. Sometimes I print my pictures and clip art while getting ready for work in the morning, so it’s ready to go when I finally have time to sit.

I’ve attached a few of my finished pages for which I’ve used your site so you can see my results. The cute kids are my grandkids. All the pages were done by individually printing and cutting out layers, even if they were originally on a single plane. I like the layered look in my albums.  I then scan in my finished pages for my own records.  The attached scans are 2 page lay outs on 8.5 x 11 paper.

 Hi Wes and Kathy, I would just like to thank you for making it easier for me to create a memory book for my daughter’s 7th birthday. I used your layouts, and the memory book was a blast with the guests!  I’ve attached here some of the pictures. Since your layouts come in pairs, i used the journalling page for the dedication/birthday wishes of the guests.

Kathy and Wes, I thank you for all of the e-mails and support. I’ve only done 2 pages so far.   I have to squeeze them in when I am not on the PC with our claim service business, so time is always at a premium. Still,  I am so pleased with the results thus far.   I’ve saved the lessons,  and will take them one by one, as soon as I can. I think you guys have a wonderful and informative web site. I am 61 years old, and I am trying to set aside memories for my 2 sons and 1 grandson before I die,  for I know that now that my mom and dad, and all aunts, uncles and grandparents are also gone,  there won’t be anyone to share some of the family history with them.   I just wish I would have started sooner. Unfortunately,  I was only about 5 when my grandfather died,  so most of my memories of him are by the conversations I heard from my parents … But, I do believe I will be able to at least leave my sons with a bit of their legacy and history ..  and least, I hope so. I am attaching the pages I’ve done so far for you to see. (just click on the images for larger view)

Laura Baby Shower
