Best Digital Scrapbook Site

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

Kathy,

Just a quick note to say what an amazing offer you have for your members at Princess Crafts.

This is the best website I have found for digital scrapping, the great part about it is access to so many websites under one umbrella site.  It makes everything so easy to find and use. I have been making pages now more than ever before as we have a new addition to the family (baby granddaughter) and your pages make it even faster to complete a page in shorter time. I love the information you send out and appreciate the warm welcome I received when I joined. I know that any problems, questions or concerns will be dealt with quickly with no hassles.

Keep up the great job as I know this is one company I will be recommending to any scrapbookers I know.

Wednesday, March 25th, 2009

Hi Kathy & Wes,

I absolutely love my cookbook 4 kids childrens cookbook!

Although your scrapbooking offers are incredible, I have way too much going right now to start a new scrapbook project too. I wouldn’t know/how/where/ or what….It is on my “bucket list” though…

I will be starting my Lil’ Chef Enrichment Class just after April vacation. And I love that I can refer back to MY bible [www.Cookbook4Kids.com] at any time…

Thanks for holding my hand this far,
keep well,

Adrienne Viola

Zesty Bean Soup Recipe

Saturday, March 21st, 2009

Hi Digital Scrapbooker,

It’s cold and rainy here in Washington State today.  That got me thinking of warm comforting food to help warm me up.

We found this Zesty Bean Soup recipe a few months back and have been waiting for just the right day to give it a try… thought that you might like to have a taste too.

It’s really quick, no all day cooking for this one, so you can even make it for dinner tonight if you want.

———————————————————————

Zesty Bean Soup

1 TBSP olive oil

1 medium chopped onion

3 cups chicken broth

3 cups water

1 15oz can great northern beans

1 15oz can kidney beans

1 15oz can diced tomatoes

1 large diced potato

1 large sliced carrot

1/2 tsp dried oregano

Drain beans.  Heat oil in pan and sauté onion for 3 minutes.  Add the other ingredients (tomatoes with juice) and bring to boil.  Simmer on high for 10 minutes until veggies are tender.  Stir occasionally.

London Bridge Pigeon Swarm…

Monday, February 2nd, 2009

Hi Scrapbook Friend,

We’ve been on the road with our new motorhome now for more than two weeks and are just having a ball.  We love it.  Everyone should work from a mobile office!

We had a little time to kill in Lake Havasu while my parents, who are traveling in their 5th Wheel RV with us, had a tire fixed.  Instead of just waiting around the tire shop, we went back to the London Bridge, just a few blocks down the road and Kathy fed the ducks (very little) and pigeons (got most of it).

(Click on the image for a full size view)

As you can see, she had quite a handfull to contend with.  We bought a little duck food from the boat rental vendor and began feeding the ducks.  But, the pigeons weren’t going to miss out and came a flyin’.

Kathy let one of them land on her arm and before you knew it, she had almost more than she could hold.  It’s funny that the one other time we fed the pigeons like this was at Trafalga Square (not sure I spelled it right – let me know if I didn’t) in London England back in the late 80s.  She loved it then too.

We didn’t keep all the fun to ourselves though…

Man and his gray haired mother feeding the Lake Havasu London Bridge pigeons - Jan 30, 2009A man brought his little gray haired mom down and we gave her some of the food too.  It didn’t take long for the pigeons to see she had food to now.  They didn’t have a camera with them, so we took this shot for them on our camera.  Hope they find it OK and enjoy it as much as the memory it made.

Kathy can’t wait to start turning this trip into another great travel scrapbook.  We also can’t wait to share a lot more of our photos with you in the form of digital scrapbook page templates and digital stationery papers.

We arrived in Las Vegas on Saturday and will be there for a full week.

We’ll get more photos posted of the trip in the next few days.  If you want to see more of our travel photos and use them to make your own scrapbook background pages or digital stationery… we have lots more of the photos on our Free Stationery BLOG at:

Other Scrapbook Sites Not As Good

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Angela Pike JohnsonDear Kathy and Wes,

I have a confession to make.  I tried joining another digital scrapbook site that is similar to yours, or so I thought.  I spent 3 1/2 hours last night trying to do one page.  I finally gave up and renewed my membership at PrincessCrafts.  I completed 2 pages in 30 minutes (except for gluing everything down) after renewing my PrincessCrafts membership.

I just wanted to take a moment and say Thank You for providing the PrincessCraft site and the support.  The few times I have needed help I received it the same day. I have been a member since Jan of 2006 and have learned my lesson.

You’all are the BEST!

You’all are also one of the few website that offers 8 1/2 by 11 pages and 12×12.  I like to combine digital and paper style scrap booking. I can’t afford a large format printer to print the 12×12 but my borderless printer does a terrific job printing out your work in 8×8 or the 8 1/2 by 11.

People who look at my scrapbooks tell me they look like professionals did them.  I tell them they need to go to Princess Crafts.com and theirs can look like mine.

Again, thank you both for what you do.
