PrincessCrafts Digital Scrapbook News for May

Have we been busy or what?  As always, the free goodies are listed at the bottom, but you have got to check out all the great stuff we have been doing in our Scrapbook Members area too.

What’s going away soon:

I will be replacing the Father’s Day categories on both the 8.5×11 and 12×12 areas by the 31st of May.

We have already replaced the Mother’s Day category for Soft Expressions and Printable Pastels with brand new sets.

We also deleted all the Silhouettes and Memory Pockets from both the 8.5×11 and 12×12 areas. The new sets will go into the categories they belong with.

We will be removing the no-art templates from both the 8.5×11 and the 12×12 areas at the end of May also.  I will also be replacing the numbers category with individual number elements. 

What’s New:

Added 3 new Teddy Bear clipart in the Animal category.

Added 3 new sets of floral recipe cards to the journaling category for Mother’s Day and also added a new mom’s day alphabet in the Members Elements area.

Just added to Scrap of a Lifetime, our Landscape format area:

Baby 58 thru 63 along with Mom 37 thru 42 which match the newly added Baby 58 thru 63 and Mom 37 thru 39 we just put into our 8.5×11 and 12×12 areas.

We also just Added a new winter category to the Landscape)format area.

The FREE Goodies:

Replaced the free mini-scrapbook page on www.PrincessCrafts.com with a New Spring page.

I’ve also added some printable stickers, clipart and free scrapbook pages to our new www.FreeTravelScrapbook.info Travel BLOG, so be sure and book mark it and check back often.  We are adding free goodies with each article we publish there.

Never forget the new stationery and/or scrapbook background added to www.Free-Stationery.com either.

What’s still to come this month:

Kathy has been working really hard and has completed 30 New Wedding (2-page sets) in 12x, 8.5x as well as in landscape format.

The new Wedding area will also have a Bonus:  12 journaling sets in all 3 formats (2 page sets with photo areas and journaling areas on them) plus another Bonus of:  6 wedding element tags in Silver and the same 6 in gold.

Our Platinum Members get instant FREE access as always and we’ll also be offering that one as a stand-alone membership as well.  Look for it to come online by the end of the month.

Free Scrapbook Downloads & Member News

I know, it’s been a full month since we last updated you on all your scrapbook pages.  So much going on here.  We’ve moved PrincessCrafts to a new faster server. With all the new sets and members, we wanted to make sure you didn’t see any slow downs or interruptions.  Just let us know if you find anything missing or not working.

Just in case you are here onl for the freebies, then just skip right to the bottom and you’ll find them there.  For our members and close friends, here’s what all we have added in the last month.

Turn Holiday Cards into Treasured Keepsakes

Hello My Dear Holiday Scrapbook Friend,
 
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanza and Happy Holidays to everyone.
 
Wes and I are all settled in at Millersylvania State Park in Washington State. We’ve been here since the 5th of November and finish up just before Christmas. Next stop is back to the first State Park we hosted at… Camano Island State Park. We are both looking forward to exploring more of the WA islands and western shores.

Are you ready for the holidays yet?
 
Turn Holiday Cards into Treasured Keepsakes
 
We got a great idea for Holiday Cards from one of our members a while back and I want to pass it on here again. It’s the perfect way to turn a simple Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanza card into a real keepsake.
 
Whether you make your cards or use holiday cards from the store, adding a family year in review letter on the inside will turn the card from just a nice gesture into a keepsake that friends and family look forward to receiving each year. I know we sure do.
 
If you make your own cards, and it’s so easy with digital scrapbook techniques and some card stock; you can easily print the inside of the card with a special holiday stationery and place your letter right there on the inside.
 
If you use boxed cards from the store, you can still put them through your printer and put a short letter on the blank part of the cards inside. If that isn’t enough room, you can use another sheet of paper and print your stationery and letter there. Then just include the letter with the card.
 
You may even want to turn the letter into a PDF file so friends and family can download it from your personal web site or you can eMail it to them complete with decorative stationery.

New Landscape Format Sets –
 
We are working hard to get the new landscape (11×8.5) area called Scrapbook of a Lifetime loaded with new scrapbook template sets. I added 2 new categories for our Scrapbook of a Lifetime Landscape site:
 
Grunge and Kwanza
 
Pastels and Soft Expressions 8.5×11 and 12x12s
 
To date we have the Animals, Christmas and Halloween categories for Printable Pastels and Soft Expressions replaced with our new png format. I will be working on the New Years, Thanksgiving and Valentines categories next. So, get the ones you want on the site now before I replace them.
 
PC-Scrapbook Elements and Embellishments
 
I have 2 new ornament sets for our PC-ScrapbookElements site loaded now and I will be removing some of the alphabet tags and ornament sets in the Christmas category from this site after Christmas.
 
New Elements:
 
2 sets of Photo Stickers (Photo Art category)
 
2 sets of Christmas Stickers (Stickers category) Plus 2 bonus Christmas Stickers Mini-Frames (same stickers, but made into small mini-frames)

Just in time for the holidays, I have added 6 new digital scrapbook Christmas page sets to both the 8.5×11 and 12×12 areas of the members sections.

Correction to the November Scrapbook Download News…

Just a couple of quick corrections from the last scrapbooking news letter.

First, I will not be adding the kits & bits kits to the element site. What I meant to say was that I will continue using the elements from this site to create papers on our other sites.  That's what I get for getting in a hurry.

Second, the New PC-ScrapbookElements category is called Alph Words, not "Letters."  I have also replaced all the animal category now for Soft Expressions and am working on Printable Pastels and will have it done in just a few minutes from now as I write this.
